Upon his death the organization he founded to raise money for charity had grown to numerous products sitting on store shelves across the country, usually adorned with his smiling face and all the profits from the sales went to charity. Over a billion dollars. His whim has now out lived him and is still growing and still giving. Paul Newman has brand recognition that started with his face and transformed into his cause.
If you’re a global company, the cause you support should also have a global impact. If you are limited to a geographical region then the cause you pick should have an impact or focus on your region. If you’re a new company, start with a local focus and grow your cause as your company grows.

This is good because they do not duplicate the original and give the original writers the credit as well. Sometimes though they end up criticizing what has been written. The fourth are those that not only blog about what others have blogged but also link back to both the blogger’s commentary and the original article. The Fifth type fall in the bad category as they also post blogs about what other bloggers are posting but do not link to the original article. They only link to other bloggers. This happens a lot though the intention is not to disrespect the original author. There is no direct credit given to the original author. The sixth are also the bad type of bloggers. They pick a topic and blog on it but do not even digg the original article instead it is their own post that is digged.
The seventh kind are the sleazy ones. They not only publish without prior permission but don’t bother to link also. The original author’s name may or may not be mentioned. This is also a case of infringement of copyright. The last of the sleazy ones are those who may or may not link but add a lot of other crap and contextual texts to the original content. This is commonly seen these days. They hardly get traffic, it’s a wonder they even bother.
There are two other blogger types that do not fall under any of these categories. One blogger type gets facts wrong but blogs anyway and only makes corrections when pointed out. The other blogger types blog because all the others are so why shouldn’t they?
